KLEKT is an online marketplace that brings buyers and sellers together. Unlike traditional retailers, we do not hold stock and instead authenticate items to ensure that the items are legit.  

We are reliant on sellers sending items to us first before we ship them out. For this reason, you may find that the wait can be a little longer than with a traditional retailer However, you can rest easy knowing that your item is legitimate.  

Used sneakers will also go under the same rigorous process as well as have the option to be cleaned by Crep Protect. For more information about Used sneakers, you can visit the next FAQ question. 

You can now buy previously used items on KLEKT. Used items will be clearly marked on the site in order to separate them from brand new, deadstock items available on KLEKT. When browsing items, there will be a clear difference between the way that New and Used items are listed on the site.

KLEKT does not offer discount codes except for on very special occasions. We will be looking into discount codes in the future so sign up to our newsletter in order to hear more.

Currently payments for purchases made on KLEKT are carried out via Credit Cards and PayPal. If you are eligible, you may also be able to use PayPal's Pay In Three service.

All used sneakers will have the option of being cleaned at the point of purchase. This cleaning service will be provided by Crep Protect and come with a small fee.  However, any sneaker of a certain age or poor condition will not be cleaned and you will be refunded by KLEKT after we have contacted you. 

At KLEKT, we go through a rigorous authentication process carried out by experts with years of experience in the industry. Our team carefully inspects all areas of an item, from the packaging to the stitching and the materials to the shape. We have the strictest measures in place to ensure your item is authentic and all counterfeit products are stopped at the door. 

Crep Clean is a service we offer exclusively at KLEKT. You can purchase this service at checkout and we will ensure your sneakers are professionally cleaned by the experts at Crep Protect. We also add in some Crep Protect Pills Shoe Freshners and a new KLEKT dust bag to make sure your "Used" sneakers arrive at your door in perfect condition.

Generally speaking returns are not permitted, for more information see Orders and Returns FAQ. It is also worth noting if you do not pay the required taxes and duties the items will be returned to KLEKT where we will deduct the fees from your refund

Your orders will be subject to Taxes and Duties upon arrival to your shipping country. These are determined by your local customs office, and KLEKT has no influence over these fees.
We are not able to declare any orders as gifts and full prices will be featured on all required paperwork

Buying

You can shop on KLEKT from any country in the world

If you are Selling an item on KLEKT, we only use DHL Express Shipping for sellers in the UK and UPS for sellers in EU. You can refer to the Selling section of the FAQs for more information.  If you are Buying an item on KLEKT, we will use DPD or UPS depending on where you are located.

Delivery times will depend on how quickly the Seller is able to ship the item to us after the item is purchased. On average, after placing an order, you can expect for your item to be dispatched within 7-12 Working Days. The average delivery time from our warehouse to you is currently 3-5 Working Days from dispatch. If the seller fails to ship the item we will cancel and refund your order to the original method of payment.

How long will it take to receive my item?

You can list deadstock sneakers, streetwear and accessories on KLEKT. You can only list used sneakers on KLEKT for the moment but this may be subject to change. The criteria for deadstock and used sneakers are different, so please read carefully to ensure you do not make any mistakes:  

Deadstock items must:  
- Be in a brand new, unworn and deadstock condition 
- Include any extras that came with it e.g laces, lace tips, additional manufacturer tags, special packaging 
- Have the original and undamaged shoebox and packaging 
- Check out our Condition Guide in the Products section on the Help & Support page to learn more  

Used items must:  
- Be clearly marked as used when uploading 
- Outline any flaws in the packaging e.g damaged, no tissue paper, replacement box 
- State any marks, scuffs or grazes on the shoe 
- Clearly state whether they show signs of yellowing 
- Declare if they are B-Grade

You can sell both New and Used items on KLEKT. For New items, we ask that the item be brand new in box, with no signs of wear and include any additional accessories that it may have come with at the original time of purchase. Used items are now available to sell on KLEKT, meaning you can list your previously worn items. Used items are, as they state, used meaning anything that is not brand new, deadstock and in unworn condition. Whether they’ve been worn for two minutes, two weeks or two years, any item that is not in brand new condition is considered Used by KLEKT. 

What is the KLEKT Super Seller programme?

It is an exclusive community of dedicated and passionate sellers that want to grow their sales on KLEKT. We want to support and reward our best sellers to grow together with a full package of benefits to enhance their selling experience.

What is the KLEKT Super Seller Programme?

At KLEKT we accept items in both deadstock and used condition. When listing an item, you will be asked to verify its quality in order to avoid penalties.

What condition does the item need to be in in order to sell?

The Authentication process takes between 1 - 2 business days. Rarer items may take longer to authenticate due to their limited nature. Buyers and Sellers are notified when items are received and the authentication process is underway. Both parties will be notified again when items have been shipped out to Buyers after the authentication of an item has been successful.  

Should items not successfully pass the authentication process the order is cancelled and the Buyer is refunded.  

Please note processing times may slightly be longer during holiday periods and special release dates.

How long will it take for my item to be authenticated?

Once you have confirmed the sale of your item within 24 hours, you will have 48 hours to ship the item to KLEKT using the free shipping and tracking label provided. If you sell on the weekend, then you as long as the label is generated within 48 hours of receipt, you will still be able to send the parcel to us on Monday or Tuesday.

All orders MUST be shipped to KLEKT within 48 hours of accepting the order.  

There are two shipping methods when you sell an item on KLEKT:  
Please note that the link to print or download your shipping label expires after 48 hours so it is best practice to download the label as soon as you confirm the order. We find that our website works best when using the Chrome browser, sometimes when using Firefox or Adobe PDF you will encounter issues downloading your shipping label.  

The Carriers used to deliver your items to KLEKT are: DHL Express (UK only) and UPS  

There are two possible shipping methods when you sell an item on KLEKT: Pick-up at your preferred location, day and time.  With this shipping method, Sellers can organise a special pick-up for their sold item. Sellers will have to: Alternatively, sellers can personally drop off their items at a Service Point  There are multiple access points for both DHL and UPS. On your order confirmation there will be a link to bring up all the access points so you can locate the nearest one to you. A guide for how items must be prepared and shipped can be found within the “Ship your item to us” notification email which clearly states the shipping instructions and how to pack the item/s. As of 9th November 2022, KLEKT will charge 5€ for the Shipping of the item to our Authentication hub which will be accounted for in the final price. This is due to the increase in global fuel charges.

Sellers are responsible for ensuring all accepted orders are shipped in a timely manner, however, should you not be able to ship an item within this time period, and to avoid the order being cancelled and or penalised as a Seller, contact Support.  

If your item has been sold over the weekend then we would recommend printing or downloading your shipping label as soon as possible.

What should I do I if I can’t ship my item within 48 hours?

In order to receive your payout, you must have a Hyperwallet account, activated and verified through your KLEKT account. Please be aware that we require the seller to be 18 or over years old. You also may be required to provide identification to Hyperwallet. 

Sellers receive their payout once the item has been successfully fulfilled. Payments are directly processed to Seller Hyperwallet accounts.  Please note that funds can take between 2-5 business days to be available in your Hyperwallet account. Again, please be aware that Hyperwallet may require you to confirm both your identity and age before payout.

You will not need to worry about import duties or tax if you are shipping from the EU, or UK. You will be liable for duties and tax if you are shipping from outside the EU or UK, including the EEA (Iceland, Norway & Liechtenstein) or Switzerland, Monaco, and the Canary Islands.

Will I be required to pay any import duties and tax?

Yes! As long as the label is generated within 24 hours of receipt for USED items and 48 hours of receipt for Deadstock items, you can still send the parcel to us on Monday or Tuesday.

My item has sold on a weekend, will I still be able to send it to you?

If for whatever reason you are having trouble accessing your Shipping Label, please contact Customer Support on support@klekt.com who will advise you on the next steps.

My shipping label has expired, what should I do?

You can now sell Used items on KLEKT! When you are listing a product, simply click "Used" and you will see all of the criteria needed in order to list it. Used items will still go through the same authentication process before being sent to buyers too. 

At KLEKT, we want to maintain a high standard of quality with used shoes. If you're looking to sell used shoes, then we would ask you to be a little realistic only list shoes that are in good condition.  However, if you're uploading a vintage shoe or something that will interest collectors, then feel free to upload it, no matter what the condition is.

All services provided and products by KLEKT are priced inclusive of sales tax/VAT.  This is paid over to the respective tax authorities at the appropriate time.

KLEKT.com is only open to private sellers and private buyers, who wouldn't be VAT registered, and they wouldn't be able to recover any sales tax/VAT charged. 

How do sales tax laws apply to me at KLEKT? 

If you would like to list an item that is currently not on KLEKT, please email support@klekt.com and provide the following information; 
The full name of the product (e.g Nike Air Max 1 OG “Anniversary Red”)
The season release (e.g 2017)
The full SKU code of the product (e.g 908375-103)
Without this information we then we will not be able to process your listing request.

How can I list an item that isn’t currently on KLEKT?

If your item does not pass our thorough authentication process, the buyer will be refunded, and your item will be sent back to you at your expense. Failure to provide payment, or accept the faulty item back within 6 months, will result in the product being destroyed.

If you did not receive your activation e-mail, it is possible that it slipped into your spam folder. We would advise you to check your spam/junk mailbox in case the e-mail ended up in there.  

If have not received your activation e-mail, feel free to contact our Customer Support team who will reset your account.

Please check that the email address linked to both your PayPal and KLEKT account match. Your email addresses will need to match in order for us to link your account properly. Make sure that you have not already signed up with a different email address as your account set up will be delayed. If you have recently changed your PayPal email address, please ensure that your new address has been linked with your KLEKT account otherwise it will not work.

I can’t link my PayPal account to my KLEKT account

On your profile page you will see four symbols for each method of verification. You can verify your account using:

If you have forgotten your password, you can click the "Forgot Password" button at the Log In section of the website. If you did not receive your Forgot Password e-mail, it is possible that it slipped into your spam folder. We would advise you to check your spam/junk mailbox in case the e-mail ended up in there.

A part of the Paypal group, Hyperwallet is a secure payout platform providing our Sellers with a transparent, frictionless and reliable way to manage their payouts. Get paid directly into your bank account in any currency. No need for transfers (unless you want too) or keeping an eye on conversion rates.

No, we will no longer payout into a PayPal account. However, Hyperwallet offers our Sellers multiple payout options. You can set an automatic payment which transfers funds directly into the bank account or PayPal account of your choice. Alternatively, you can manually transfer your finds to whichever bank account you choose. 

Hyperwallet is a secure payment platform. As a member of the PayPal group, Hyperwallet has the same high levels of security and safety as Paypal. If you have any worries or concerns, please contact us at support@klekt.com 

Hyperwallet supports all currencies. Payouts are exchanged automatically in accordance with the current fixed rate.

Payouts will appear in your payment portal 3 to 5 days after your payment has been actioned by KLEKT.

How long does it take for payments to arrive in my account?

Once your funds are transferred to your Hyperwallet account, you have full control over where those funds go. You have the ability to set up auto transfer which see’s your money automatically transferred to the account of your choice, alternatively, you can choose to move your funds between accounts manually. 

What happens when you pay into Hyperwallet?

You have the freedom to choose what you want to do with your funds once they are in your payment portal. You can choose to set up an automatic transfer to your bank or PayPal account. Alternatively, you can withdraw funds and transfer them manually.

Do I have to withdraw funds from Hyperwallet after every payment?

As long as automatic payments have't been set up, you have the choice to do what you want with the funds in your payment portal.

Can I withdraw part of my Hyperwallet balance?

No need to sign up for Hyperwallet, we’ll create the account for you. Our team will set up your account via the email linked to your KLEKT sellers account. Once created, you'll receive an email to that address containing your Hyperwallet ID number (please take note of this), you will then be required to verify your account. 

No, you can only use an account that has been created for you by KLEKT. 

I already have a Hyperwallet account, can I use that? 

Go to Hyperwallet home page, add transfer method. At this point you will  have the option to add a PayPal or bank account. It can take up to 30 minutes to process your account changes.

How do I add my bank details to my account? 

You are required to share some personal information. This includes the following: your name, home address, date of birth, and whether you are a private or business seller.

What information does Hyperwallet require from me? 

Once you have reached sales of over €5000, you will be required to provide further information for compliance purposes. 

Why does my account need to be verified? 

You could be asked to provide the following information Verification of person identified as the account holder:  

Information on the submitted documents must be current and clearly visible.

Up to 2 pieces of identification may be required. 

Verification of account holder’s address:  

Utility bill (e.g., gas, electric, water, cable, phone) 

Government issued documents (e.g., tax bills, balancing statements) Full name, address, and document validity (dated within the last 12 months) must be clearly visible.

What information does Hyperwallet need to verify my account? 

For security and compliance purposes, personal information needs to be provided for everyone's safety.

All sizes on KLEKT are displayed in US men's shoe sizes unless stated otherwise in the product name (e.g. Women’s, infants, toddlers).

If you are unsure about which US size you are, we would advise checking with the specific brand that you are looking at.

Our Authentication Officers are experts in their field. Extensive hours are spent researching fake/replicas with countless comparisons made between genuine and the most current high-quality fake/replica items. Each item is inspected by multiple members of the team using the appropriate and relevant method and technique for that specific item in determining its authenticity. Only items that are considered as 100% authentic are shipped to the Buyers.

We are continuously working on expanding our product database, however if an item that you would like to list is not available contact our Product team on support@klekt.com. We do not guarantee that every product will be added, but we will try our best to add your requested items. 

Greyed out silhouettes mean that the item is available to buy and sell but we are waiting for an official image.

KLEKT will rarely send out items for free. However, we are always looking to partner with new people as we grow. If you would like to work with KLEKT, please send a proposal to us using the workwithus@klekt.com email address and we will get back to you.

A used shoe is a shoe that has been worn or is not deadstock. This means whether it's been worn for five minutes, five hours or five days, it's classed as used on KLEKT.

As we are a platform for private buyers and sellers we are not able to issue any invoices. If you would like to review your order confirmation you can log into your account and you can download your purchase invoice there.

Currently payments for purchases made on KLEKT are carried out via Credit Cards and PayPal. 

If you are eligible, you may also be able to use PayPal's Pay In Three service which is available in the UK, US and France.

You can check the status of all your orders on your KLEKT Account. Simply log in, click the Dashboard in the top left and select the "Orders" section. Here you will be able to track all of your orders.

Once you have placed an order on KLEKT, the shipping address can not be changed. It is important that Buyers ensure the correct address is provided on the Shipping section at the checkout before confirming an order to ensure that the item/s are received.

Can I amend the delivery address on my order?

Once your order has been placed then you will receive a confirmation email with the full details. If for any reason you have not received an email, please check your junk.

As all purchases are from private Sellers, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for items. Once a Buyer has placed an order and the Seller has been forwarded the proceeds of that sale, we are unable to recall those payments.  

Buyers are advised to be 100% certain about the purchases which they make on KLEKT as all sales are final. If your item still has the KLEKT Verified tags on, we would advise relisting the item through the KLEKT Platform. 

As an online marketplace, we bring Buyers and Sellers together. Once you decide to buy an item on KLEKT, you are locked into a contract with the Seller.  

If an item received into our fulfilment centre from a Seller does not meet our authentication criteria (e.g. it is a replica/fake, worn or the item was not as described) the order is cancelled, and the Buyer receives a full refund. The Seller will be subject to a penalty charge for failing to fulfil the order.  

In any given situation a Buyer and their payment are always protected, meaning their money is safe.

If you have removed the tag and worn your item then we are unable to accept a return. We recommend inspecting your item thoroughly before removing the tag in order to avoid any issues. 

I have removed the tag and worn my item but noticed a fault, what can I do? 

Factory flaws occur at a point in the manufacturing process meaning that we are not liable for any flaws. As a secondary marketplace, we have no control over the production of any item that we sell, nor the brands quality control. We will alert you if a factory flaw has a detrimental effect on your item e.g loose stitching, midsole discolouration, but for general QC flaws we are not responsible. 

My item has a factory flaw, what can I do?

Sometimes items can be stored incorrectly or arrive to us with slight marks on them. These marks may occur during storage, for example, the mesh may have yellowed or transported to us badly e.g. the outer box is too big for the shoe box. We will always alert you of such marks but we are not responsible to issue a refund as this is something that is out of our control.
