Nike's .SWOOOSH platform reimagines the Air Max 1 with some retro-gaming aesthetics. Inspired by Donkey Kong, this pair features hair brown suede overlays with bursts of red and yellow on the Swooshes. All the pieces of the upper, including the Air Max tag on the tongue, are rendered in a low polygon aesthetic drawn from the early 3D era of video games. The yellow midsole features a visible Air unit in the heel, with a brown waffle rubber outsole underneath.
