Welcome back to the KLEKT Release Report, your official guide to the week’s sneaker releases. This week we’ve finally got the release of the Air Jordan 3 Dark Mochas, along with the debut Nike collabs from Jacquemus and Nina Chanel Abney.
Coated in sweet shades of brown, the Dunk High Chocolate features smooth overlays on a tumbled leather base. Hits of white on the Swooshes and laces finish off this simple colourway.
This pair is covered in light cream from its upper to its rubber outsole. The solid yellows are found on the Swooshes and heel, complete with a blue produce sticker.
This fresh pair of Next Nature Dunks comes in pastel mint greens over a white leather base. The light greens continue on the speckled Nike Grind rubber outsole.
After a delay last month, the Dark Mochas are finally here. Dressed in an ice white upper, accents of coffee brown are found in the elephant print leather and the rubber outsole. Hits of pink are also found on the cream Air midsole, earning it the nickname ‘Neapolitan’.
The all-new collaboration between Nike and Jacquemus kicks off this week with their Air Humaras. This pair features premium beige suede panels over a white upper, with the Humara’s typical fabric stripes being toned down, only featuring on the lacing and around the heel. What’s not toned down is the chunky sole coming in white and gum, rounding out the stylish colourway…
…The second pair of Humaras features a gorgeous chocolate brown upper, with lighter cuts of suede overlays and pink accents on the fabric stripes. This colourway also includes the Humara’s staple fabric wrapping around the midsole. Both colourways feature Jacquemus branding on the heels and outsoles, with tiny metallic gold Swooshes decorating the sides of these luxe collabs.
Teddy Santis’ Made in USA collection continues with these Sea Salt 990v3s. This colourway features premium white and grey leathers over a breathable mesh upper, with accents of cream over its ENCAP midsole.
This week marks another debut, with NYC artist Nina Chanel Abney taking on the Air Jordan 2. The upper is rendered with simple smooth premium leather, with luxe snakeskin panels along the sides. This collab adds a distinct red panel wrapping around the heel, along with grey suede on the toe and heel tag…
…The same simplistic look continues on the low top, this time with solid green around the heel and on the outsole. Both pairs include Abney’s name printed on the insole, and come with a small silver picture frame with basketball-themed art in her signature style.
South Korea’s biggest sneaker studio, Kasina has decorated the Air Max 1 with Won Ang ducks, symbols of togetherness in Korean weddings. The ducks are found beneath a translucent outsole and are embroidered on the upper which features grey pony hair panels over blue leather.
