It’s hard to deny just how successful the Nike SB Dunk was last year. Following on from celebrity endorsement in 2019, the Dunk became one of 2020’s hottest sneakers. Countless colourways and collaborations ensured that Nike SB remained fresh and exciting. This year, it looks like it’s going to be much the same. In fact, we now have a closer look at an upcoming Wasted Youth x Nike SB Dunk Low collab dropping later this year.
Although not much is known about the upcoming SB Dunk, we do have a number of leaked images. Teaming up with the graphic designer turned streetwear staple, Vardy and his Wasted Youth imprint, the upcoming SB Dunk is certainly eye-catching. A patchwork denim upper is used to give the shoe multiple textures, whilst leather accents on the Swoosh and heel tab add a nice touch. The medial Swoosh features a rose across it, putting a new spin on the iconic Nike logo. “Wasted Youth” features across the two heel tabs too, with metal rings underneath adding a punk element to the Nike SB Dunk.
As for now, there’s not much information on the upcoming Wasted Youth x Nike SB Dunk Low. With the images only just releasing, we guess we have a long wait yet.
