There are few street basketball tournaments as revered as the Quai 54 even in Paris. Taking place every June since 2002, the Quai 54 event has brought together some of the city’s most exciting talents to battle it out. In 2006, Jordan Brand became an official sponsor of the event, creating one of the most unique sneaker partnerships in history. Last month, we reported that a Quai 54 Air Jordan 6 was dropping. Now, it looks like one more Quai 54 Jordan is on the way.
Whilst this year’s tournament may be postponed, that hasn’t stopped Jordan Brand and Quai 54 from creating some slick kicks. Joining the roster of this year’s festivities is the Air Jordan 1 Low. Much like the Air Jordan 6, this Quai 54 Jordan features a similar colour blocking throughout. Sail leather overlays are paired with a brown, yellow and white graphic along the mid-panel and toe.
Brown leather Swooshes, Team Orange detailing on the tongue and a clean white midsole with a gum sole finish this sneaker off. Of course, the subtle detailing on the laces and insole adds to the allure of this Jordan 1 Low. This summertime ready pair of AJ1 Lows is already looking like a must cop for us here at KLEKT.
The good news is that there isn’t long left to wait in order to cop these Jordans. Reports suggest that the Quai 54 x Air Jordan 1 Low will release on July 18th for around €110. Check out the early images below and let us know if you’ll cop these AJ1s.
