Hello, my name is Lars, also known as Bboylaspin, and I am an avid Jordan collector from Germany. I’m very excited about the 2024 Reimagined Bred release. I understand the materials used are leather, not suede like the originals, but that’s what distinguishes the Reimagined Jordan series. A prime example is the Reimagined Royal 1, crafted from suede instead of leather. The quality of the Royals is actually really impressive, I can’t understand why they’re a sleeper.

My passion for Air Jordans began in my youth, with the return of Michael Jordan to the NBA in 1995. I played basketball in my Jordan shoes, and MJ was like a hero to me, marking some of the best times of my childhood and youth. My first Jordan 4 was the 1999 Bred/Black Cement, and I absolutely loved those shoes.
In 2008, I started seriously collecting Jordan shoes and bought the Jordan 4 Countdown Pack, which I still have in my collection today. The 2019 release, featuring Nike Air on the back, was also a must-have for me; I always say, “OG heat to rock”. That’s why I’m eagerly anticipating the Reimagined Bred 4, which will be released on February 17th, 2024, to commemorate Michael Jeffrey Jordan’s birthday.

First of all, of course, the Bred colourway. It was my first Jordan 4, and I got this amazing concrete sculpture limited to 10 copies worldwide for the 2019 release at Asphaltgold.

Next up is the 2011 Doernbecher Superman 4, this was my first expensive Jordan that I bought in 2012. I love this collaboration with the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital and the stories of the children behind it, who design the shoes together with the Jordan team.

In third place is the 2017 Jordan 4 Grey Kaws. For me, this is simply the best Jordan 4 collaboration, the quality of both the grey and black Kaws is just so great.

Now it’s old but gold. The 2005 Black Laser, I also call it the Black Beast. The quality of the leather and all the details on the shoe are simply amazing.

Last but not least in my top 5 is the 2020 Off-White WMNS Sail colourway. This shoe is so beautiful and clean, and a real masterpiece by the late Virgil Abloh, RIP.
