We’ve just seen another reimagined hit with the release of the Air Jordan 3 White Cement Reimagined. It seems like Jordan Brand are determined to sustain this success, with a reimagined pair of the Air Jordan 4 OG Bred rumoured for 2024.
This OG Air Jordan 4 colourway pays homage to the AJ1 colourway that was banned by the NBA (although technically it was the Air Ships that were banned). The Jordan 4 take on the colourway consists of a black upper with grey plastic pieces, and a red rubber outsole underneath. Being an OG colourway, this pair would of course feature the classic Nike Air branding on the heel. The Jumpman logo appears on the tongue tag, along with the classic “Flight” script.
While little information about the Reimagined Breds is known as of yet, they’re rumoured for a March 2024 release. We can assume they’ll be following the logic of previous reimagined Jordans like the Lost and Found and White Cement. Expect to see some aged or distressed effects throughout the black upper, as well as some vintage yellowing on its plastic components and the Air midsole.
Given the success of the Reimagined series so far, the Bred is set to be one of the biggest releases of 2024. Coupled with the fact that 2022 was one of the biggest years for the Jordan 4, with more releases like the Thunder 4s and SB Pine Greens sure to sustain the hype.
